Nudge Raises $1.1M to Launch the Agentic Commerce Platform

We're launching Nudge Agentic Commerce, and we just raised $1.1M to build it.
A year ago, Gaurav and I started building Nudge because we kept seeing the same gap.
Brands were waking up to a question they'd never had to ask before: how is AI talking about us? When a shopper opens ChatGPT and asks "best wireless earbuds for running," who shows up, and why?
A handful of companies were starting to measure that. Visibility tools, dashboards, share-of-voice charts. Important work but measurement felt like the easy part.
The harder problem, the one no one was solving, was what happens after the AI surfaces a brand. The shopper either clicks through to a generic product page that wasn't built for the prompt they asked, or has the agent buy on their behalf with no context or readability.
Visibility alone doesn't move revenue. The gap between being mentioned by AI and being bought is where commerce brands are bleeding intent right now.
So we built Nudge to close it.
What Nudge actually does
Three connected layers that make up the new AI commerce stack:
AI Visibility: A shopper asks Perplexity for "a lightweight sunscreen for oily skin." The agent surfaces five recommendations. Today, most brands have no idea whether they're in that shortlist, why their competitors keep showing up, or what to change. Nudge shows you exactly that.
Shoppable Funnels: Then the shopper clicks through. Today, they land on a generic PDP that wasn't built for "lightweight sunscreen" or "oily skin." With Nudge, they land on an experience matched to the exact intent they asked, delivered on your existing storefront.
Catalog Enrichment: Underneath all of this, the catalog has to be legible to agents. Structured data, conversational attributes, schema, alignment with emerging protocols like ACP and UCP. Nudge helps you enrich your entire catalog so AI platforms can read & recommend your products.
Why this is bigger than visibility
The brands we work with, including Mosh, OluKai, and L’oreal, are already seeing lifts in AI visibility, traffic, and orders.
But the metrics we obsess over aren’t just visibility. It's revenue & traffic tied back to every action you take inside Nudge.
That's the wedge. Most platforms in this space stop at the first half of the problem. We're building for both halves. Being recommended is the start, being bought is the win.
The funding
To make this real, we raised $1.1M in pre-seed funding, led by S16VC, a fund backed by the founders of Miro, Datadog, and Intercom, with participation from Antler and operators from Shopify, Nutanix, and Postman.

What's next
We're going deeper on the next phase of AI commerce, where checkout itself happens inside the chat through emerging agent protocols. The brands that adapt early will define this category.
